The Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowships (SURF) provides eligible undergraduates $3,000 to carry out original research for 9 weeks during the summer under the supervision of a UNC-Chapel Hill faculty research advisor.  In this information session, you will learn about this fellowship and the application process.  Previous SURF awardees will also talk about their experience with applying and conducting their SURF.
