Seminar Discussion with Nathan Hensley – “Catastrophe and Knowledge”

On Friday, February 28, Dr. Nathan Hensley will lead an informal seminar discussion on his published piece “Catastrophe and Knowledge: Thinking through the archives of ‘industrial time’ – from Jane Eyre to the IPCC report,” as published in The Ecologist.
Nathan K. Hensley is an Associate Professor of English at Georgetown University.  He is the author of “Forms of Empire: The Poetics of Victorian Sovereignty” (Oxford UP, 2016), and is co-editor of “Ecological Form: System and Aesthetics in the Age of Empire” (Fordham UP, 2019).
