LSP Symposium: Morphology: Knowledge Circulation in LatinX Production

April 3 @ 4:00 pm

Annual Latina/o Studies Program Symposium!

Morphology refers to the study of the size, shape, structure, and relations between the parts of living organisms and, likewise, of words. Life forms and word formation, the regulation of life forms through semantics, and critical evaluation of regulatory systems– this conference seeks to explore the figurative structure of world-building. Our interests are twofold: to interrogate how terminology does or does not create coalition and/or unity, and to examine projects that maintain and/or challenge those coalitions. Understanding meaning-making as a living and relational process is foundational to this symposium.
