Latina/o Studies Program Open House and Film Screening

During the first part of the event, guests will have the opportunity to enjoy some delicious pupusas and coffee in the company of a variety of LSP friends, including LTNO minors, UNC undergraduates, graduates, and professors. Guests will also have the opportunity to hear about interesting Latinx-related scholarship and projects being carried out by folks in our UNC community.
During the second part of the open house, we will be offering a film screening of the indie film Chop Shop. The film will be followed by what we anticipate to be a lively conversation and will mark the first of a series of films we will be showing throughout the 2019-2020 academic year.
