AAAD Colloquium: Professor Danielle Christmas on “Pop Culture or National Myth?: Slavery and the Holocaust as One American Horror Story”

The Department of African, African American, and Diaspora Studies (AAAD) cordially invites you to attend the first Colloquium talk of their 2019-20 series. This year, in commemoration of the arrival of the first enslaved men and women in North America in 1619, the theme of the AAAD colloquium series is “Slavery and Its Afterlives: A Colloquium on the 400-Year Anniversary of Arrival”.

On Wednesday, October 2nd at 11:15 AM in Battle Hall 109, Danielle Christmas, Assistant Professor of English and Comparative Literature here at UNC Chapel Hill, will be giving a talk entitled, “Pop Culture or National Myth?: Slavery and the Holocaust as One American Horror Story.
