The Institute for the Arts and Humanities at UNC Chapel Hill recently posted a retrospective on DOECL Professor Alan Shapiro’s two terms as Faculty Fellow with the IAH. Prof. Shapiro is a poet and creative writing professor, whose most recent publication is his fourteenth collection of poetry, Proceed to Checkout (University of Chicago Press, 2022).
