Bio

Dr. Hammer joined UNC’s English faculty in the Fall of 2007.  His teaching is focused primarily on Digital Rhetoric, Composition, Film, English Pedagogy, and Writing for Health and Medicine.  Dr. Hammer also serves as the Director of Writing Assessment and Placement and serves as the principal investigator for the English department’s longitudinal assessment study.
