Information Meeting: Applying for Graduate School in English and Comp Lit

November 1, 2018 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Thinking of applying to Graduate School in English or Comp Lit?
Or maybe you’re in the middle of preparing your applications for this year’s deadlines?

The Department of English and Comparative Literature is hosting an information session for anyone interested in learning more about the application process. The deadlines for this year are fast approaching, and it’s a good time to be thinking ahead about whether to apply next year. In this information session, current grad students in the DOECL program and professors with experience in graduate admissions will answer any questions you have. We will discuss:

*How to write an effective statement of purpose

*What admissions committees are looking for

*How to choose programs that are right for you

*What to expect in grad school

There will be lots of time for questions!!

PIZZA AND REFRESHMENTS SERVED!!!
