Anne Fertig, a doctoral student in English and Comparative Literature Department at UNC, will introduce and lead a tour of the exhibit she curated about the Scottish Gaels in North Carolina currently on view at UNC’s Wilson Special Collections Library. This event will also include presentations of recently digitized sound recordings of North Carolina’s Gaelic oral traditions from the Wilson Library’s Southern Folklife Collection.
