Humanities Happy Hour

August 22, 2018 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Carolina Public Humanities and the Institute for the Arts and Humanities (IAH) are teaming up to bring you Humanities Happy Hour. Starting this fall, Happy Hours will feature the scholars who were or are UNC-CH Institute for the Arts and Humanities Faculty Fellows.

All Humanities Happy Hours feature a short scholarly presentation followed by a discussion with the audience. Humanities Happy Hours are free and open to the public and run from 6-7pm at Top of the Hill’s Back Bar. Free snacks are provided courtesy of Carolina Public Humanities and the IAH, but get there early because it gets gobbled up fast!

Up this week:

We’re starting the 2018 Fall Semester with a bang! Join us at Top of the Hill’s Back Bar for Humanities Happy Hour. We’ve got an all-star panel discussing the role of the humanities in self-discovery, education and in the university, and public/civic life.

Panelists:

The Institute for the Arts and Humanities will be providing some complimentary treats.

Bring your friend, grab a drink, and settle in for a conversation with a group of happy humanists.
