Students who would like to teach in other departments (Romance Languages, German, Women's Studies, The Writing Center, etc.) should follow the appropriate application procedures of each respective department. The application forms provided below apply only to courses in the Department of English and Comparative Literature.
Application Materials
New Teaching Fellows
Graduate students who have never taught for the Department of English and Comparative Literature should complete only New Teaching Fellow Application form.
Returning Teaching Fellows
Teaching Fellow Reappointment Application: ALL returning Teaching Fellow applicants are required to complete this form.
Literature and Recitation Request form: Those graduate students interested in teaching a literature course and/or recitation section should complete this form in addition to the English Composition Request Form. Course descriptions for available literature courses and recitation sections will be available soon.
NOTE: Not all Teaching Fellows are eligible to teach literature courses or recitation sections. Please see the Literature and Recitation Request Form or Section VI of the "Policies and Procedures for Appointing Teaching Fellows" document for more information.
Deadline Friday, February 10, 2012: All Teaching Applications will be due in to the Writing Program office on this date for the 2012-2013 academic year.

Senior Fellow and Senior Teaching Fellow Application: The criteria for letters of recommendation are included in this memorandum.
