Beverly Taylor

My current research project, Elizabeth Barrett Browning: The Poetics of Engagement, examines her poetry in the context of other Victorian poets, genre issues, and cultural debates. With Marjorie Stone of Dalhousie University, I am editing a selection of Barrett Browning's poetry for Broadview Press.  The two of us are also working with general editor Sandra Donaldson on a four-volume edition of the complete Works of Elizabeth Barrett Browning for Pickering and Chatto.  Other research in progress includes a collection of essays on the major women characters in Arthurian literature and art.
