Federico Luisetti offers courses on theory and modern literature, visual studies and the Avant-gardes.

He is the author of the books: Una vita. Pensiero selvaggio e filosofia dell’intensità (Mimesis, 2011);Estetica dell’immanenza. Saggi sulle parole, le immagini e le macchine (Aracne, 2008), and Plus Ultra. Enciclopedismo barocco e modernità (Trauben, 2001).

He has edited with Luca Somigli a special issue on Italian Futurism of the journal Annali d’Italianistica, 27, 2009: A Century of Futurism: 1909-2009 and with Giorgio Maragliano two volumes on visual studies: Dopo il museo (Trauben, 2006) and Museo, a special issue of Rivista di Estetica, ns 16, 1/2001.
