At the head, links to the eight main branches of the site. (The ORB header containing these links appear on all pages of the main site.)

As the body of the main page, after a brief "Welcome":

• a list of "quick connections" to other sites (all of which you will encouter further down in ORB's pages, and one of which, the "Internet Medieval Sourcebook," is a major co-site of ORB);
• a link to the site's "What's New" page;
• the presentation of the site's eight main branches with a brief explanation of each.
• Under "Acknowledgements" at the bottom, a list of the site's creators and contributors.
